On 22 February 2018, Vezhdi Rashidov opened a new exhibition ‘A Comeback’ at San Stefano Gallery.
The event was attended by President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, Ms. Tsveta Karayancheva - Chair of the National Assembly, President Georgi Parvanov (2002-2012), former Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Academician Anton Donchev, and many other prominent guests - politicians, public figures, as well as arts, media and culture representatives.
The exhibition ‘A Comeback’ comprises 27 sculptures and 50 paintings that have never been shown publicly before and can be viewed at San Stefano Gallery until 22 March. The artist has dedicated this exhibition to his wife, whose love and affection brought him back from the hospital room to his temple - the studio.
San Stefano Gallery is a starting point for the journey of this high-profile exhibition to several countries across the Old Continent.
