San Stefano Plaza Complex has successfully completed the BREEAM certification procedure (the most widely used global standard for sustainable buildings). The process of assessment led by the team of MOMERIN continued for nearly four years and the complex received BREEAM Excellent certificates for its three sections - residential, commercial and office.
As a result of the efforts of the team of San Stefano Property Development EAD, the complex meets the high requirements of BREEAM 2013 - a high level of energy efficiency, healthy living environment, increased ecological value of the landscape and the surrounding terrain, optimized waste management, еnvironmentally friendly building materials and a developed building management manual. The consumption of energy and natural resources is optimized through RES systems, waste heat treatment from refrigeration is used for hot water, rainwater utilization, etc. An improved organization of the transport flows has been introduced and cycling storage is provided.
Geostroy AD, as the site's main contractor, actively contributed to the achievement of the high level of excellence by strictly applying the requirements of BREEAM 2013 to all activities related to the implementation of construction and assembly activities.
San Stefano Plaza is the first complex of buildings with BREEAM Excellent in Bulgaria and the residential section of the complex is the first one in Bulgaria, which has been certified with BREEAM Excellent.
